A block of 50 rooms have been reserved- reference "Bonneville Vintage GP" for a discounted rate. Rooms will be released one month prior to event. This is the closest motel to MMSP outside of Tooele.

Wendover Hotels
Wendover, Utah/Nevada is the place to stay. It has plenty of casinos and hotel rooms. We have been able to arrange a good rate at the Rainbow Casino from Monday night Sept. 3, through Wednesday night Sept. 6. There are only 25 rooms that will be available at $40 per night.B
To reserve a room, call Melissa at 800-648-9660 ext 6667. This is the Marketing Dept and not the main Hotel Reservations. Tell her you are with the "AHRMA group" and you're done.
This rate is good for the first 25 rooms reserved and expires August 20th, so plan accordingly.
For RV's and tents, there is a KOA in West Wendover with all needed support. Reservation are suggested as there are several events happening, including a national round of desert racing, while we're on the salt.
If you do not need support, there is dry camping at "bend in the road". Leave I-80 at exit #4 (4 miles east of Wendover) and head north on Slat Flats Road about a mile. The road bends to the east and there is ample parking on either side of the road.
There is a wonderful Mexican restaurant just north of the truck stop at exit 4.
Bikes and trailers can be left in the pits on the salt and there is security all night. There is no overnight tent or RV camping in the pits. This is a BLM regulation and it is enforced.

Wendover Reservations
The Rainbow Hotel and Casinos is holding a block of rooms for the: AHRMA-Motorcycle Association for Sept. 2-5, 2008.
- Each group member needs to follow these steps to reserve their room in the block we have set aside for the AHRMA Group.
- Please call Melissa Yadon-Reyes in our Marketing Office at (800) 648-9660 Ext. 36667. Tell her that you would like to reserve a room with the American Historic Racing Motorcycle Assoc. Group under the code “AHRMA” for Sept.2-5, 2008 at the following rate: $40.00 w/tax $46.40 ( Tues-Thurs).
- Please note Melissa’s Office hours are 8AM-5PM Tues.-Sat. If you leave a message it will be returned during these hours or you may call the numbers below.
- Please note that the cut off date to make your reservations is Aug. 25, 2008. Please be prepared to give your name, address, telephone number, and credit card information to secure your reservation. We accept the following credit cards: Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and Diners Club. Personal or Business Checks will not be accepted unless special arrangements have been made. (If sending a check, it must arrive prior to the groups’ arrival. Please ask Melissa for address of where to send a check.)(If you will be using a tax exempt number, that information must be given at this time and will not be accepted at check in.)
- Please let us know if you prefer a smoking or non-smoking room, and we will try to accommodate your preference. If you have any other special interests or requests, please let us know at this time.
- If you would like to make a room reservation for a date different from the date(s) in the block, you will need to make a separate reservation for that room(s). Extra rooms before or after your group’s block may or may not be available and may be a different rate. We will advise you on room availability and room rates. We can then join all of your reservations together.
- A 24-hour cancellation notice applies to all individual to book and pay group reservations and can be made through Melissa at the numbers above or through our main reservations at (800) 537-0207.
- Any reservation made without a credit card to hold will automatically be canceled at 6:00PM on the date of arrival.
- When you arrive at the hotel for your group event, please check into your room (Check-in is 4PM, Check-out is 12PM) at the hotel front desk of your group’s event. To help with this process please provide the front desk clerk with the following:
- Photo Identification
- A credit card to bill expenses from room incidentals or a $50.00 cash deposit may be required. We accept all major credit cards and will not accept a personal or business check.
- Charges to your room are from using room amenities such as Pay-per-view movies, telephone, video games, etc. If you do not use any of these amenities your room bill will not be charged.

Tooele Hotels
The reality is that the track sprang up so fast that the town of Tooele's infrastructure to support such a big facility is lagging a bit behind. Miller plans to eventually build some of its own hotels which may be in place by next year. For now there are 5 hotels in Tooele and two of them are owned by one family and the other two by another family. They are a bit expensive for a town of Tooele's size as they seem to cater to military, government agencies and contractors but for now they are the only game in town. We have tried to negotiate some better pricing but they didn't seem to be interested. The 3 main hotels are at the south end of town about 6 miles away from the track and the Oquirrh Motor Inn is located next to a truck stop on the I-80 interchange on the north side-caution should be exercised here as there is a lot of 24 hour I-80 traffic stopping at the truck stop and security overnight for racebikes on trailers could be suspect. The hotels charge around $80.00 to $110.00 per night and the Oquirrh at the truck stop would be less. There is a new Holiday Inn Express in the middle of town that is right next door to the Trax Brewpub It opened the first day of last year's BVGP and the report we got is that it is really nice. A better bet are the hotels east of Tooele just off of I-80 and west of the SL International Airport at what is called the International Center. Most have an aviation theme'd address and would be about a 25 minute drive from the track. We have negotiated a group rate with two hotels at the International Center. To get the discount you must tell them you are with AHRMA or The Bonneville Vintage GP. Please note there is a large convention in Salt Lake City that weekend and would recommend making reservations ASAP.
